Fair Trade for Our Future Resolution
(H. Con. Res. 295)

The Fair Trade for Our Future Resolution is a proactive piece of legislation that establishes minimum standards for responsible trade policies and asserts that all future agreements should comply with these minimum standards. The resolution identifies trade policy prescriptions in eleven key areas: Investment; Services; Government Procurement; Environmental, Labor and Public Interest Standards; Trade Remedy Laws; Food Safety; Agriculture and Food Security; Transparency; Governmental Authority; Access to Medicines and Seeds; and Development.
